NWA

This week in class we on Monday we listened to the group NWA. But most importantly, the one song that stood out to me the most was the song, Straight Outta Compton. I think I had herd of this song before but never really listened to it fully all the way through. The group, Easy E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and MC Ren produced some great music and were harder than the rap from the 80's we listened too. Obviously there were many more vulgar words in this group and in their song, but to me it didn't make a difference. Their just words, right, who cares. I hear or use any number of those words on a daily basis and, I'm sure I've become desensitized, but who cares. I guess the combination of the beat mixed with the lyrics and the different rappers really made Straight Outta Compton a great song in my book.
